Betsy Schwartz has been a doula since 1991.  She considers being a doula as her calling and her passion.  She established Tenth Month in South Florida in 1994. Betsy holds a master’s degree in management of human services and is a DONA International certified postpartum doula.

 She also offers a DONA International approved Postpartum Doula Certification workshop.

Betsy is a founding member and former Board member of the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services. She is a member of the Citrus County Breastfeeding Coalition.
